It has been all change again on the mountain. After yesterday’s foehn wind and sunshine, it has snowed hard today, so much so that it has repaired yesterday’s damage in the most part. What a difference a day makes. Tomorrow’s forecast promises sun, but you never know for sure until the day dawns.

There were signs today of more of the mountain opening. In the afternoon, piste bashers appeared on Honegg. On Saturday, Mannlichen should open and hopefully the link to Scheidegg as well. There are concerns though that restaurants and bars may be required to close, or open only until the early evening, and that the skiing too may close before Christmas. Possibly no ski or apres ski before long.
A day of little visibility brought 5,197 vertical metres in in 23 lift rides and 35 kilometres travelled.
