Quiet mountain

The weather was indifferent today. It was neither warm nor cold, the sun was out for a while in the morning and then the clouds arrived.

We were away early, only to find a queue at the entrance to Central Sport and then another, still longer, at the cable car. Once on the mountain though, most skiers had seemingly found the door to Narnia, so quiet were the pistes. As the light worsened in the afternoon, the few skiers around thinned out further.

Late on, the light improved once more. The skiers reappeared as well, forming an orderly queue at the door to Central Sport.

A busy village and a quiet mountain brought 8,728 vertical metres in 18 lift rides and 47 kilometres travelled.
