The sun shone as forecast this morning. Again, there was a queue for the cable car, but the skiers were lost on the expanse of the mountain and it was a quiet day of good skiing and warm temperatures.
Mrs IS went to the big city, otherwise known as Interlaken. Her last visit was before Christmas, but remembering well Greek mythology, she unwound a ball of twine behind her on leaving Interlaken Ost and returned there without difficulty sometime after lunch.

On the mountain, the familiar pistes needed no guidance. Despite the warm weather, the snow stayed in excellent condition, with some slush only on the way home, below Allmend. The day brought 10,250 vertical metres in 22 lift rides and 54 kilometres travelled.
