It was another painted blue sky today, until late afternoon when cloud circles appeared above the Grindelwald valley. They are are a rare sight, at least for the Idle Skier.

It was cold this morning when we boarded the 9.45am cable car. The crisp air, sunshine and excellent snow made for one of the best days of the season, enjoyed by us and a handful of other skiers. Tomorrow seems set to bring all sorts of weather, with some sunshine, more snow and the wind bowing once more. We can do without the last of those, but time will tell what actually turns up.
Another fantastic day in the Jungfrau region brought 11,803 vertical metres in 25 lift rides and 60 kilometres travelled.
