The wind blew strongly yesterday evening and overnight it snowed to a level just above the village. This morning was cloudy, but it soon cleared.

All day, my path crossed that of a Polish ski club. They have been here all week probably, but for me they were new faces. Their presence, new this season I think, shows that nothing is preserved in aspic and when the next winter comes, Wengen may be different again.
Later on, the light faded and the snow became pretty heavy. Despite that, it was a good day which brought 10,154 vertical metres in 22 lift rides and 54 kilometres travelled.
