What a day. Where do I begin? It is all down to the weather again I am afraid. Early on the cloud was socked in still. At Scheidegg, for a few minutes at about 11.00am, visibility was down to inches, but by then due mainly to the heavy snowfall. As often when the snowflakes are the size of saucers, it changed suddenly and the sun emerged for a while.

The cloud returned, then the sun re-emerged for a while. It was bitterly cold all day, with a wind blowing in the morning. The forecast for tomorrow is more snow and colder still temperatures.
A memorable day brought 5,732 vertical metres in 23 lift rides and 34 kilometres travelled.
