The Idle Skiers had to be up early this morning. We were in the village by 8.00am. On leaving home, we were battered by rain and wind, which was a surprise. Where had the snow gone?
An hour or so later, I was on the train to Scheidegg and found the snow had migrated up the hill by a couple of hundred metres. The train was a necessity; the cable car and the Mannlichen pistes were closed by high winds. It was pretty breezy at Scheidegg as well.

It was a good day’s skiing though, very quiet with fresh snow. Wixi was at its best. On the way home, I diverted onto the Bumps T bar. I do most days, just to help keep the user tally at a decent level. Use it or lose it, as they say.
Another great day, with most people at home with their feet up, brought 7,847 vertical metres in 19 lift rides and 38 kilometres travelled.
