A sunny day on the last working day of the week usually means plenty of people taking the day off and heading for the mountains. Today was no different. There wasn’t much of a queue at the cable car early on, but the gondola from Grund was busy and there was a crush of people at the Mannlichen chair.
It was warm again today. The sun shone more consistently than yesterday but despite the temperature and the crowds, the skiing was good all day. Late on, the light on the mountains was spectacular.

The holiday season is upon us again, but the forecast for the next few days is mixed. The village will be busy. The key question is though, will it be busy on the mountain?
Another exceptional skiing day brought 8,588 vertical metres in 19 lift rides and 48 kilometres travelled.
