Calm before the storm

It was busy yet again this morning, but lunch time once more seemed to be the signal for things to change.  By mid-afternoon it was quiet everywhere.  The local view is that it is going to be crowded next week, so crowded that the village might offer standing room only. It seems these few days might be the calm before the storm.

According to the forecast, today has been the calm before the storm literally.  It was colder than yesterday, but still mild.  Tomorrow though is promised to be properly cold and seriously snowy. Just at the moment, that seems unlikely, but things change quickly around here.

Another sunny day brought 11,082 vertical metres in 24 lift rides and 62 kilometres travelled.
