Sometime last night, the forecast snow arrived. This morning was grey and the snow was still falling hard. There wasn’t a queue at all for the cable car, which reverted to its fifteen minute departure slots for probably the first time since before Christmas.
On Mannlchen, the snow was magnificent but visibility was measurable in a few inches. It made for some hard work, until about mid-day when some blue sky showed up.

With the clearing skies, a few more skiers arrived. It was never remotely busy though. With some sun forecast and plenty of fresh snow still to be found, tomorrow will be different. Every skier between here and Berne might be on the mountain.
A day of deep snow everywhere brought 7,391 vertical metres in 16 lift rides and 42 kilometres travelled.
