I have always thought this blog has focused too much on the weather. It is difficult to avoid the subject though. Most everyday things around here, whatever time of year, are based out of doors. So you and I are stuck with the subject. I will try to get the topic over with quickly tonight.
It did seem like a Spring day today. The sun shone, it was warmer than it has been for weeks and the snow on the lower part of Wixi softened up in the afternoon. That didn’t take too long, did it?

It is very quiet on the mountain, but you need still to keep your wits about you as random skiers straight line almost any piste. A few days ago I saw some skiers in Edwardian clothes, with skis and poles to match. There were a dozen or so of them, moving very slowly just above Bumps T bar. Perhaps we need to return to the ski equipment of a century or so ago, just to calm things down.
A day with lots of turns and few straight lines brought precisely 11,000 vertical metres in 23 lift rides and 58 kilometres travelled.
