Today was mundane after yesterday’s exacting weather. The wind had dropped, there was no new African sand on the pistes (although there was plenty left over from yesterday) and the snow condition was something close to normal for mid March, despite a warm day. All lifts were open.
The forecast was for wall to wall sunshine, but that didn’t happen. The cable car was not full this morning and the pistes were quiet all day. The season has been extended until 24 April and I am sure there will be busy days before the lifts close, but seemingly not this week.

A spring day with good conditions early on and some slush in the afternoon brought 9,376 vertical metres in 20 lift rides and 52 kilometres travelled.
