It was snowing again in the lower part of the village this morning, but there were signs of better weather on the peaks by the time breakfast was eaten.
The clear weather came and went. In the later part of the morning, it mainly went, with heavy cloud rolling up the Grindelwald valley on to the Mannlichen pistes.

In the early afternoon, the sun rallied for a while and the skiing on empty pistes around Honegg and Eigernordwand was excellent. By mid afternoon, the cloud had returned and Wixi was a magical mystery tour. The route home was lined with new snow though and good all the way to the village.
A patchy day weather wise brought 8,690 vertical metres in 18 lift rides and 48 kilometres travelled.
