Mrs IS has been keen for us to be on our way promptly this season and we were out of the front door by 9.00am today. It is December of course, with the sun low in the sky and the mountains obscuring the daylight until well after dawn, so it seemed earlier still as we headed up the hill.
It is a clear sign that the village is quiet when you know more than half the people on the cable car. All day, it seemed the usual suspects were occupying the hillside.

Mrs IS headed home at lunchtime. In the afternoon, it was warm, but the snow was still good. It had been quiet all day, but by mid afternoon most people had gone home. Just before the lifts closed, I had a solitary ski back to the village.
A further day in the sun brought 10,559 vertical metres in 20 lift rides and 54 kilometres travelled.
