At 9.00am this morning the queue for the cable car stretched almost to Central Sport. It didn’t become much shorter until the afternoon by all accounts. There were equally long queues at every lift, the mid station at Holenstein being bad particularly.
The oddity was that the pistes never seemed busy. There have been days like this in seasons past; everyone queuing, no one skiing.

It is still cold in Wengen, but the north wind has dropped and that makes it feel several degrees warmer. The snow is in great condition. The skiing is good, save for those pesky queues.
Skiline is on a go slow. According to their website, it is about mid day and I am near Lager. I will give the scores tomorrow.
